Sharon has felt an attraction for gems and stones for many years and continually educates herself on their quality, vitality and versatility. While on a Santa Fe, New Mexico sabbatical in early 2003, Sharon developed a fascination for combining these gemstones with precious metals, glass, pearls, and crystals. She returned to her Texas home with zeal, immersed herself in creating artistic jewelry, and thus JewelsElite was born.
With encouragement from those who saw and wore her jewelry, Sharon had her first sale exhibit in December 2003 at Cliff House Studio and Gallery, a resounding success. Sharon continuously finds wonderful new treasurers to add to her extraordinary collection of gems, stones, crystals, glass, and pearls. This rich palette of shapes, color and texture feeds her with creative energy as she fashions bold and beautifully designed hand crafted jewelry, developing her own style of singularly unique creations of wearable art.
Sharon displays and sells her jewelry at various soirees, exhibits, trunk sales, and Holiday shows … as well as her annual holiday show & sale at Cliff House Studio and Gallery in Fort Worth, Texas, owned by contemporary ceramic artist and photographer Pamela Summers and Pam’s husband Raymond Rains, contemporary glass artist, where Sharon’s work is available year-round.
